Ganon talaga, life life lang yan.

What is KABATAQ?

KABATAQ is an abbreviated term for Kapisanan ng mga Blogistang Taga Quezon. KABATAQ is a paraphrase of the tagalog word KABATAK which means comrade, friend, buddy, companion who shares common ground and are solidly amalgamated through ups and downs of life. You will often hear the word KABATAK in many parts of Quezon, referring to a person which share some unique closness to an individual. Thus we paraphrase KABATAQ to signify the yearning of this project to unite all bloggers from Quezon Province and build a community of Quezonian that shares closeness, ideals, culture and heritage of our beloved province.

KABATAQ was conceived because of the author’s urge in making the Province of Quezon known by way of blogging in the blogosphere. Sometimes it’s annoying and a bit irritating when some fellow Filipinos doesn’t even know where our province is. These and other misconceptions about the Beautiful Province of Quezon pushed the author to create this project, specifically to:

1. Gather all Quezon-based, born and raised Bloggers into one

2. Build a Quezonian Bloggers communty online

3. Promote the Culture, Tradition, Tourism and Heritage, Awareness of Quezon Province

4. Share common grounds and ideals among members
